The star has given the full amount of his £25k honor cash to the MVT, which functions to protect the United Kingdom's small music venues.
Fender was presented with the cheque on mid-October as his latest record People Watching was named the best record of the previous year.
Fender has decided to give the cash to the Music Venues Trust, in appreciation of the vital role grassroots venues fulfilled in his early career.
"I personally would not have achieved my current career if it wasn't for all the gigs I did around the area, and further afield, when I was beginning," stated the artist. "These spaces are legendary, but they are facing challenges."
From early 2023 onward, more than 150 of these locations have ceased operations – about 16 percent of the total UK scene.
Over the past year, major artists including Pulp, Coldplay, Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran have all aided the MVT in its attempts to help venues survive, by including a minor surcharge to their admission fees, which benefits independent venues.
Fender also joined in, raising over £100k on his live tour to support numerous grassroots venues across England, Scotland, and Wales.
These funds supported locations that were facing imminent closure due to issues caused by floods, blazes and family tragedies, as well as permit problems, legal disputes and noise complaints.
Other venues were granted monetary aid in upgrading infrastructure and sound and lighting systems that helped musicians and concertgoers.
"The concept that revenue from shows in large arenas backs the smaller venues, where it kicks off for artists like me, is just logical," the star has stated.

Last week, the trust revealed it had rescued several small stages in that region, by bringing them into local control.
The first in the city and the second in the city were purchased under the community ownership initiative, which is funded by the arts council and music fans who buy "shares" in the properties.
